Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath has suggested that MS Dhoni should be given the captaincy as long as he enjoyed the game. Dhoni is expected to retire after the World Cup. McGrath made his point. McGrath came to Ranchi to train the Jharkhand bowlers.
Speaking on the occasion, McGrath said: 'Dhoni has done a tremendous service to Team India. He provided two World Cups. His captaincy is awesome. Proof for many young players. Dhoni should be played as long as he enjoys the game. Dhoni should continue playing after the World Cup, ”McGrath said. McGrath taught the bowlers a two-day training camp in Ranchi under the aegis of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association. McGrath took 563 Tests and 381 wickets in ODIs.
MS Dhoni's 344-run knock against Pakistan in the World Cup last Sunday. This meant that India's legendary cricketer Sachin (463) was on par with Dravid.
